Cosina Voigtlander has joined the Micro Four Thirds group and to celebrate they have released an amazing Nokton 25mm f0.95 lens with m4/3 mount! That’s right, f0.95.

I guess Cosina realised they were selling just as many m4/3 mount adapters as they were lens so why not join the party. Looks like we’re going to see some affordable, really fast, high quality lenses at long last. No more waiting for Panasonic to get off their arse.

I have the Nokton 50mm f1.1 and it’s a great lens even with the mount adapter. This 25/0.95 is really tempting especially if the rumoured price tag of US$1k is true. The nearest equivalent is the Leica Noctilux at over US$10k.

My Canon and Nikon SLR toting buddies are going to be really jealous.
