Why is it that the iPhone Tumblr clients all suck so badly? I’ve tried three or four of them and they all suck.
They crash like crazy, performance is terrible and the UIs are clumsy. The HTML dashboard thing is clunky as hell. Like Twitter, I would have thought a Tumblr app would have been a UI play ground but it seems entirely the opposite. There is no innovation at all.
Is this a reflection of the Tumblr API or the fact that there is no market for a Tumblr client? Is it not worth the effort to build something cool?
